Which way each note leans
The free fingering chart shows the textbook tuning lean for every fingering: low D says “Runs sharp” and “Kick the 3rd-valve slide out as the note starts”; top-space E says “Tends flat”. It lists the real alternates, gives high C♯ and high D their standard 1-2 and 1, and has Hear it (the note at concert pitch) and Tune it (straight to the tuner).

How much is Soloist Trumpet Pro?
Pay once, no subscription. In the US, Soloist Trumpet Pro Lifetime is $19.99, charged once. It never renews, works with Family Sharing, and unlocks the full course, all 111 pieces and unlimited imports. The App Store shows your exact regional price before purchase.
I subscribed in an earlier version. What happens now?
You keep Pro while your plan is active, and nothing about your progress changes. Settings in the app offers a switch to Lifetime; if you take it, cancel the old plan in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions so it doesn’t renew.
Can a complete beginner learn trumpet with it?
Yes. The course starts on written low C, finds open G and a first lip slur, then builds scales, articulation, range and coordination over 32 sequenced lessons. The first three units are free.
Does it judge my embouchure or which valves I pressed?
No. It measures pitch and attack evidence from the microphone on your device. It never guesses your valves or claims to diagnose your embouchure, tongue or breath support, and it leaves unclear notes ungraded.
Do I need a trumpet to begin?
You can explore written and concert pitch, fingerings, partials, and guide-brass examples without one. Microphone feedback and physical technique practice require a real acoustic trumpet.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. Soloist Trumpet has native regular-width lesson and practice layouts for iPad, and the same Soloist Pro purchase unlocks it on your Apple devices.
