Row, Row, Row Your Boat on piano
The full melody, rendered as engraved grand-staff notation (both hands) you can read on screen or print for the stand — free, and never truncated.
Trad. American round, 1852 — public domain.
How to practise this on piano
Read the grand staff the way your hands divide it: the top staff is your right hand, the bottom staff your left — always by hand, never by pitch. Row, Row, Row Your Boat is in C; find the first note (C4) and anchor your right-hand thumb near it before you play anything. Learn the hands separately first: right hand alone until it grades clean, then the left alone, then together at half tempo — the app hears exactly which hand drifted, which is the thing your own ear glosses over.
Keep your eyes on the score, not the keys; your hands learn the geography faster than you expect. Set the metronome well under around 150 BPM and only raise it after two clean takes. When hands-together breaks down, don't start over — drop back to hands-separate for the one bar your take review marks, rebuild it, and splice it back in. By the numbers, this arrangement runs 27 right-hand notes over 9 left-hand notes across 8 bars, the right hand from C4 up to C5 and the left hand reaching down to G2 in 6/8 time.
