Soloist Ukulele Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 July 2026
These terms apply to Soloist Ukulele on iPhone and iPad. By using the app, you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
The service
Soloist Ukulele provides a four-tuning tuner and chord library, a 62-lesson High G and Low G core course, 159 playable original, traditional, and public-domain works, metronome and play-along tools, on-device melody capture and import, evidence-bounded grading, and an optional network practice Coach. Baritone and D Tuning receive tuning-aware chords, songs, playback, imports, and grading; the app does not represent the gCEA core course as a Baritone or D-shape course.
Soloist Pro
- Soloist Pro is an auto-renewable subscription. In the United States, the current prices are US$9.99 per month or US$59.99 per year. Prices vary by region, and the App Store purchase sheet shows your exact price before purchase.
- Eligible new annual subscribers may see a 7-day free trial. The monthly plan has no introductory trial. The App Store determines and displays eligibility.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. You retain Pro until the paid period ends. Apple's standard refund process applies.
Coach and fair use
Network Coach requires Sign in with Apple and has the monthly fair-use limits shown in the app. It sends only the text you type and an optional numeric practice summary to an AI processor; it does not receive your audio. Coach suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as practice ideas, not medical or other professional advice. Do not abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the app or service.
Feedback limitations
Microphone grading depends on the instrument, room, device, and signal quality. Soloist may leave an unclear take ungraded. It assesses supported pitch and timing evidence and does not claim to identify a named right-hand technique or replace a qualified teacher.
Your content
Anything you play, record, or import stays yours. Only capture or import material you have the right to use. On-device arrangement and practice tools do not grant rights in third-party music.
Availability
Features and the included public catalog may evolve. Signed catalog updates can add or correct material; app updates may change or remove material when necessary. On-device tools remain subject to device and operating-system compatibility.
Disclaimer
Soloist Ukulele is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
