Common questions
The tuner or grading cannot hear me
Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and enable Soloist Ocarina. Practise in a quiet room near your iPhone. The app leaves unclear evidence ungraded instead of guessing.
A fingering sounds sharp or flat
Breath pressure changes ocarina pitch, and accidental fingerings vary between makers. Centre the note with the tuner, then compare the app's common 12-hole Alto C reference with the chart supplied with your instrument.
A MusicXML file will not open or grade
Use a valid MusicXML or compressed MXL score containing supported pitched notation. Import and playback run on-device. If a score cannot be interpreted or fitted to the supported instrument range, the app should explain the failure rather than claim a successful import.
Restore, manage, or cancel Soloist Pro
Use Restore Purchases in the app while signed into the same Apple Account used to subscribe. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Apple handles billing and refund requests.
Delete an optional account or report a World post
Use the in-app account-deletion or report control where available. You can also email us with the request and enough non-sensitive detail to locate the account or post.
