Ocarina Studio Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 September 2026 (version 3.3)
These terms apply to Ocarina Studio: Tabs Tuner on iPhone. By using the app, you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard EULA.
The service
Ocarina Studio provides a chromatic tuner, a 12-hole Alto C fingering reference including both sub-holes, a structured graded course, a public-domain song library, a long-tone coach, private on-device MusicXML import and playback, evidence-bounded microphone grading, and a read-only Listen tab of studio melodies with safety controls. Features may evolve while remaining accurately described in the version offered for download.
Free and Ocarina Studio Pro
- The tuner, the long-tone coach, complete 12-hole Alto C fingering reference, opening graded lessons, and private MusicXML import and play-along remain available without a purchase.
- Ocarina Studio Pro unlocks the full course, the remaining bundled catalog, and grading for supported imported pieces.
- From version 3.3, Ocarina Studio Pro is sold as Ocarina Studio Pro Lifetime, a one-time Apple in-app purchase that never renews. There is no subscription to start. In the United States it is US$9.99 once. Prices vary by region, and Apple's purchase sheet shows the exact price before purchase.
- Ocarina Studio Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase of the on-device Pro features described in the app, for as long as Ocarina Studio is offered on the App Store and supports your device. It does not include future services with ongoing per-use costs, such as cloud or AI processing; if offered, those are sold separately or by subscription. It stays with the Apple Account that bought it and is restored with Restore Purchases. Lifetime purchases made before version 3.3 remain honored.
- Earlier versions also offered monthly and yearly Ocarina Studio Pro subscriptions. If you have one, it is billed to your Apple Account and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
Your music
Imported scores stay private to your device. Only import, arrange, perform, or publish music you have the rights to use. The app's on-device tools do not grant rights in third-party music.
Listen and content rights
The Listen tab (called World before version 3.3) plays short studio melodies and provides reporting and account-specific blocking; it does not provide a public upload control. Visible melodies are pre-moderated note-event sequences rendered by the app, not raw recordings. Only import or use music you have the right to use. Report unlawful, infringing, abusive, hateful, harassing, or otherwise objectionable Listen content through the in-app control.
Feedback limitations
Microphone grading depends on the instrument, room, device, and signal quality. Ocarina Studio may leave an unclear take ungraded. It evaluates supported pitch and timing evidence and does not replace a qualified teacher.
Availability and disclaimer
Catalog entries and supported import details may change through app or signed catalog updates. Ocarina Studio is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
